De bescherming van uw Persoonsgegevens nemen wij zeer ernstig.
Wij stellen dit privacy beleid vast, dat tot doel heeft de Persoonsgegevens van de Gebruiker op een wettelijke, correcte en transparante manier te verwerken, in overeenstemming met de Wet van 30 juli 2018 betreffende de bescherming van natuurlijke personen met betrekking tot de verwerking van persoonsgegevens en de Verordening (EU) 2016/679 van het Europees Parlement en de Raad van 27 april 2016 betreffende de bescherming van natuurlijke personen in verband met de verwerking van persoonsgegevens en betreffende het vrije verkeer van die gegevens en tot intrekking van Richtlijn 95/46/EG) (d.i. de Algemene Verordening inzake Gegevensbescherming (AVG) of “GDPR”;
U geniet volgende rechten met betrekking tot uw Persoonsgegevens:
- Het recht op informatie, toegang en inzage: u heeft op elk moment het recht gratis kennis te nemen van uw Persoonsgegevens, alsook van het gebruik dat we van uw Persoonsgegevens maken;
- Het recht op rectificatie, verwijdering en beperking van de verwerking: u heeft steeds het recht om ons te verzoeken uw Persoonsgegevens te verbeteren, aan te vullen of te verwijderen. U mag eveneens vragen om de verwerking van uw Persoonsgegevens te beperken.
Andere bepalingen en wetgeving die ons verplichten om bepaalde data te bewaren gaan echter voor op deze regel.
Zo zullen wij onder meer gerechtigd zijn een verbetering, rectificatie of het wissen van uw Persoonsgegevens te weigeren in de gevallen opgesomd in art. 39, §4 Wet Persoonsgegevens;
- Het recht op bezwaar: u beschikt over een recht van verzet tegen de verwerking van uw Persoonsgegevens om ernstige en legitieme redenen;
- Het recht op Persoonsgegevensoverdraagbaarheid: u beschikt over het recht om uw Persoonsgegevens die door ons verwerkt worden in gestructureerde, gangbare en machine leesbare vorm te verkrijgen en/of aan andere verantwoordelijken over te dragen;
- Het recht op intrekking van uw toestemming: u beschikt over het recht om uw toestemming in te trekken zoals hiervoor bepaald;
- Het recht op klachtindiening; mocht u het niet eens zijn met hoe we uw verzoek behandelen, dan kan u zich richten tot de Persoonsgegevensbeschermingsautoriteit (Commissie voor de Bescherming van de Persoonlijke Levenssfeer, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussel, Tel +32 (0)2 274 48 00, Fax +32 (0)2 274 48 35, e-mail: commission@privacycommission.be). Daar kan u desnoods ook een klacht indienen. Dit laat een voorziening voor een burgerlijke rechtbank onverlet.
De Federatie der Belgische Diamantbeurzen zorgt ervoor dat enkel personen Persoonsgegevens kunnen zien indien die relevant zijn om hun taken te vervullen, zoals bijvoorbeeld met u communiceren over de uitvoering en afhandeling van onze diensten.
De Federatie der Belgische DIamantbeurzen verkoopt of verhuurt uw Persoonsgegevens niet aan anderen.
De Federatie der Belgische Diamantbeurzen neemt intern technische en organisatorische maatregelen om te voorkomen dat Persoonsgegevens in handen komen van en verwerkt worden door onbevoegden, of per ongeluk gewijzigd of vernietigd worden. De lokalen, de servers, het netwerk, de overdrachten en de Persoonsgegevens worden strikt beveiligd. Regelmatig controleren we of dit beveiligingsniveau optimaal is.

- However, other provisions and legislation requiring us to retain certain data take precedence over this rule.
- Among other things, we will be entitled to refuse to correct, rectify or delete your Personal Data in the cases listed in art. 39, §4 Personal Data Act;
- The right to object: you have a right to object to the processing of your Personal Data for serious and legitimate reasons;
- The right to Personal Data portability: you have the right to obtain and/or transfer to other controllers your Personal Data processed by us in structured, common and machine-readable form;
- The right to withdraw your consent: you have the right to withdraw your consent as stipulated above;
- The right to lodge a complaint; should you disagree with how we treat your request, you may contact the Personal Data Protection Authority (Commission for the Protection of Privacy, Rue du Printing Press 35, 1000 Brussels, Tel +32 (0)2 274 48 00, Fax +32 (0)2 274 48 35, e-mail: commission@privacycommission.be). You can also file a complaint there if necessary. This is without prejudice to a remedy before a civil court.
The Federation of Belgian Diamond Bourses ensures that only individuals can see Personal data if it is relevant to perform their duties, such as, for example, communicating with you about the implementation and handling of our services.
The Federation of Belgian Diamond Bourses does not sell or rent your Personal Data to others.
The Federation of Belgian Diamond Bourses takes internal technical and organisational measures to prevent Personal data from falling into the hands of and being processed by unauthorised persons, or from being accidentally altered or destroyed. The premises, servers, network, transfers and Personal Data are strictly secured. We regularly check whether this security level is optimal.)
